Key Responsibilities


• Advise employers regarding workforce growth strategies, employment compliance, and HR-related legal matters

• Counsel executives and HR leaders on employment law risks and best practices

• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, executive compensation documents, and workplace policies

• Support corporate transactions by advising clients on employment-related risks and compliance concerns

• Collaborate with technology companies and private equity clients on sophisticated employment matters

• Assist clients with employee relations, workplace investigations, and policy development

• Provide practical legal guidance regarding California and federal employment law compliance

• Manage multiple employment counseling projects within a fast-paced environment

• Work closely with attorneys across practice groups on multidisciplinary client matters

Qualifications


• Minimum 5 years of employment law experience in counseling and compliance matters

• Current or prior experience within a Chambers-ranked Labor & Employment practice preferred

• Admission to the California State Bar or New York State Bar required

• Strong employment law counseling and advisory experience

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities

• Demonstrated professionalism and sound legal judgment

• Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing sophisticated matters
