Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience for its Seattle, WA office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes cases alongside senior attorneys in a collaborative environment.
Duties
- Prepare and argue pleadings and contested motions, including complaints, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and applications for temporary restraining orders or preliminary injunctions.
- Take and defend depositions and collaborate with expert witnesses to support case strategy.
- Manage fast-moving, deadline-driven matters, including non-compete litigation and trade secret protection actions, representing clients as both plaintiffs and defendants.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in complex commercial litigation within a law firm setting.
- Admission to the Washington State Bar is required.
- Trial experience is considered a plus.
Education
- Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active license to practice law in the State of Washington.
