Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate with three or more years of litigation experience to represent banks, lenders, and loan servicers in disputes involving loan servicing practices and credit reporting. Duties

• Represent financial services companies in disputes involving loan servicing practices and credit reporting.
• Manage multiple matters and competing deadlines while engaging directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Conduct discovery and participate in courtroom proceedings with meaningful responsibility for case strategy.
• Collaborate within a supportive team to deliver high-quality legal services and maintain effective client relationships.

Requirements

• Three or more years of litigation experience in consumer financial services or related areas.
• Admission to practice and good standing in the state where the candidate will be based.
• Strong academic and professional credentials with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing competing priorities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction; California bar admission is preferred but not required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and counsel.
