The founding partners of the McGuireWoods Seattle office are a nationally recognized team of litigators and appellate advocates, including two former U.S. Supreme Court clerks. The group counsels global companies in bet-the-company commercial and product liability disputes throughout the United States and abroad.
The nine Seattle-based partners deepen McGuireWoods’ considerable capabilities in class actions, multidistrict litigation, commercial and product liability litigation, antitrust litigation, and appellate matters. Their arrival enhances McGuireWoods’ lengthy roster of first-chair trial attorneys, accomplished appellate practitioners and strategic advisers who represent clients in their most significant matters in courtrooms and tribunals around the world.
Associates who join the Seattle office would support not only the Seattle-based partners and clients, but also litigation partners throughout McGuireWooods’ offices whose practices include commercial litigation, environmental and mass tort litigation, government investigations, appellate advocacy, product liability litigation.

Job Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have 1-5 years of experience in an Am Law 100 law firm setting or in judicial clerkships.
- Please submit cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams.
- Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills.
- Washington Bar is required.
