A law firm seeks a midlevel associate to join its Labor, Employment, and Immigration practice in San Francisco. The attorney will represent employers in traditional labor matters, workplace disputes, and compliance issues while working closely with attorneys across multiple offices.
The position involves significant responsibility for union organizing matters, collective bargaining, National Labor Relations Board proceedings, legal research, written advocacy, and client counseling. The associate will provide practical advice to employers and help develop strategies for complex labor relations matters.

Duties
• Advise employers on labor relations matters, including union organizing campaigns and collective bargaining.
• Represent and support clients in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
• Research labor and employment laws and prepare legal memoranda.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other written submissions in workplace disputes and administrative proceedings.
• Counsel employers on labor and employment compliance matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex workplace and traditional labor matters.
• Develop client relationships by providing practical and responsive legal guidance.
• Participate in business development and thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements
• Four to six years of relevant labor and employment experience.
• Experience handling traditional labor matters and advising employers on labor relations issues.
• Prior experience with National Labor Relations Board proceedings.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
