A law firm is seeking an Appellate Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of appellate litigation experience to join its appellate practice. The position focuses on handling complex appellate matters, developing legal strategy, and preparing persuasive written advocacy in state and federal appellate courts.

The successful candidate will conduct in-depth legal research, draft appellate briefs and related filings, collaborate with litigation teams on case strategy, and manage multiple sophisticated assignments. Attorneys will work closely with experienced appellate practitioners while contributing to significant appeals involving complex legal issues.

This role offers substantial responsibility in appellate advocacy while providing opportunities to develop advanced legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

This opportunity is offered through an appellate litigation practice representing clients in sophisticated appeals and complex legal disputes. Attorneys collaborate with experienced litigators while developing advanced appellate advocacy skills across a broad range of matters.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for appellate matters.

• Draft appellate briefs, motions, and other appellate court filings.

• Collaborate with attorneys to develop appellate strategy and legal arguments.

• Analyze complex legal issues and applicable case law.

• Manage multiple appellate matters and deadlines efficiently.

• Support all phases of appellate litigation from case assessment through final resolution.

• Prepare persuasive written advocacy for appellate proceedings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of appellate litigation experience.

• Outstanding academic credentials and strong law school performance.

• Prior experience handling appellate litigation matters.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and sound professional judgment.

• Preferred: Federal appellate judicial clerkship experience.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
