Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law litigation matters, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, and domestic violence.

• Conduct thorough client consultations, assess issues, and gather relevant information.

• Handle negotiations, mediations, and court appearances.

• Prepare discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and interrogatories.

• Draft settlement agreements, custody arrangements, and other family-law-related documents.

• Prepare Case Information Statements and analyze financial documents, including tax returns.

• Advocate for clients during hearings, trials, and conferences.

• Manage a caseload from intake through final resolution.

• Maintain organized case files and consistent communication with clients.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active New Jersey Bar license.

• 3–6 years of family law litigation experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload under pressure.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
