A well-established law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Columbia, MD office. This hybrid position offers flexibility while providing hands-on experience in family law litigation, including divorce, custody, and adoption matters. This position is actively interviewing and offers a strong partner-track position for attorneys seeking long-term growth.
This role is suited for a Family Law Attorney who wants meaningful client interaction and courtroom experience. Attorneys will manage sensitive matters that directly impact clients’ lives while developing strong litigation and negotiation skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle hearings, settlement conferences, and trials in family law matters
• Manage cases from intake through final resolution, including divorce and custody disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in court and advocate effectively in high-stakes personal matters
• Collaborate with partners and team members on complex family law litigation
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress

Qualifications
• 3 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney or Divorce Attorney
• Active Maryland Bar required
• Experience handling litigation in Montgomery and/or Howard Counties preferred
• Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently while working within a team
• Admission to the DC Bar is a plus

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
