A highly regarded full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Labor & Employment practice. This position focuses on employer-side litigation involving workplace disputes, wage and hour matters, class actions, administrative proceedings, and employment counseling.
Attorneys in this practice represent employers in state and federal courts while providing strategic advice on employment law compliance and workplace risk management. Associates receive meaningful litigation responsibility, direct client interaction, and opportunities to handle sophisticated employment disputes from inception through resolution.

Duties
• Represent employers in state and federal courts in complex employment litigation matters.
• Defend employers before administrative agencies involving workplace claims.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Develop litigation strategies for employment disputes and employer defense matters.
• Participate in wage and hour litigation, including class actions and representative actions.
• Prepare persuasive motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Provide exceptional written and oral advocacy before courts and administrative tribunals.
• Advise employers regarding litigation risks and practical legal solutions.
• Work independently while collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice groups.
• Manage multiple sophisticated employment litigation matters while maintaining excellent client service.
• Build long-term client relationships through responsive and strategic legal counsel.

Requirements
• 3–6 years of experience in employment litigation and general civil litigation.
• Experience representing employers in labor and employment disputes.
• Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, and litigation strategy.
• Wage and hour litigation and class action experience preferred.
• Active Oregon and Washington Bar admissions required.
• California Bar admission is considered an advantage.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters while working collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and client relationship management abilities.
