Key Responsibilities

• Represent corporate clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and other proceedings

• Manage complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract and IP-related disputes

• Conduct extensive legal research and provide strategic analysis

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents

• Provide ongoing counsel regarding risk management and compliance

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable outcomes

• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients on litigation strategy

• Oversee trial preparation, trial, and post-trial processes

• Track billable hours and maintain accurate client records

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school

• Active Texas Bar membership in good standing

• 2–4 years of commercial litigation experience

• Strong deposition and courtroom advocacy skills

• Proficiency with legal research platforms and litigation software

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

• Ability to mentor junior legal team members and work collaboratively
