Job Description
We are seeking a GenAI / AI-ML Engineer - On-Premises LLMs to design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using on-premises models and infrastructure. The role will leverage LLMs, prompt engineering, chatbots, and machine learning to create new content and insights. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and operationalize GenAI solutions. The hiring manager requires candidates with demonstrated production experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement GenAI solutions using LLMs on on-premises infrastructure.
- Develop production-grade Python services and applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Streamlit.
- Build and refine prompts, retrieval pipelines, and chatbots for text generation and insight extraction.
- Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering, including creation and management of embeddings and vector databases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize models and services in production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of hands-on AI and GenAI engineering experience.
- Strong programming experience in Python with LangChain, LangGraph, and Streamlit.
- Experience with AI frameworks and applied data science.
- Knowledge of natural language processing for text generation and chatbot development.
- Skilled in data preprocessing, feature engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with Natural Language Speech/Search technologies such as SOLR and Lucene.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience deploying and supporting on-prem LLM stacks and RAG pipelines.
- Background in Agile delivery and CI/CD for ML applications.
Work Arrangement & Interview Process:
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Newark, DE.
- Start month: November.
- Interview process includes 1-2 rounds. Video is required and an in-person interview may be required. Glider-based ID verification will be conducted.
- Max 3 submissions per vendor.
