Job Description
We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic team supporting key initiatives within the GFIIT portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile and Scaled Agile delivery, capital markets technology, and team coaching, and a proven ability to drive predictable delivery, improve team maturity, and facilitate cross-team planning and dependency management.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a servant leader for one or more Scrum teams and remove impediments.
- Coach teams to achieve sprint goals and adhere to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Plan, facilitate, and coach agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate Program Increment planning and represent teams in Scrum of Scrums within a Scaled Agile model.
- Manage dependencies, provide transparent delivery plans, and report progress to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and collaboration across teams to establish best practices.
- Advance agile team maturity based on Bank of America guidelines.
- Oversee delivery management for revenue-generating and regulatory initiatives in the GFIIT portfolio.
- Perform business analysis to understand needs and shape solutions in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Develop domain understanding of Treasury and supported applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master leading software delivery teams.
- Expertise facilitating Agile and Scaled Agile ceremonies including PI planning and Scrum of Scrums.
- Proficiency with Jira for backlog management, planning, and reporting.
- Strong delivery management and dependency management skills with clear communication to stakeholders.
- Business analysis capability to translate needs into actionable backlog items.
- Exposure to capital markets technology initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
- Capital markets product knowledge in Fixed Income or Derivatives.
- Experience with trading platforms or Quartz framework.
- Ability to script in Python or SQL for analysis and reporting.
- Certifications such as CSM/PSM, PMP, or CFA.
