They are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team and support producers and clients with outstanding policy management.
Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for handling new business once bound, renewals, policy changes, certificates, audits, claims, up selling and customer service needs. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
New Business & Renewals
- Process new business packets, financing agreements, and policy documents.
- Coordinate with carriers to obtain and review renewal quotes.
- Work with producers to finalize renewals and send quotes to insureds.
- Ensure accurate issuance of certificates, endorsements, and policy updates.
Policy Management & Changes
- Request policy endorsements, issue ID cards, and handle invoices.
- Investigate and resolve any policy/endorsement errors or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate client records in the AMS.
Claims & Audits
- Assist insureds with filing claims and track claim progress.
- Process direct-bill and agency-bill audits, ensuring accurate invoicing.
Client Service & Support
- Provide top-tier customer service to insureds and carriers.
- Respond to billing inquiries and carrier questions.
- Attend carrier meetings and stay updated on carrier appetites.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management preferred.
- Knowledge of agency management systems (AMS360) and carrier processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Active Oregon Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
