What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH Shift Manager position at Barrett's Quality Eats?
Barrett’s Quality Eats is looking for a Shift Manager to support the day-to-day operation of our front of house. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a strong shift, support a team, and solve problems. The right candidate will care deeply about hospitality and take pride in helping the people around them become stronger professionals.
This is a hybrid position. Shift Managers should expect to spend approximately 30–40% of their weekly schedule working as the Manager on Duty. The remainder of the schedule may include working as a server, cashier, bartender, barista, trainer, or in another front-of-house position. Your compensation for this role will include tips when scheduled in a tipped position. This role requires a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
The Shift Manager is accountable for leading the restaurant while serving as Manager on Duty. You’ll set expectations, give employees the direction they need to succeed, and make sure our service and operating standards are carried out consistently.

- Attend weekly manager and quarterly/yearly VTO meetings
- Act in a manner consistent with the Gold Cap Tenets of Leadership

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
