Description

About This Role
- Assist in the design, prototyping and testing of new components and systems.
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings and drafting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of engineering drawings, reports and documentation.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
- Provide support during prototype builds, testing and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth product development and handover.
- Actively seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and engineering capability.
- Participate in coaching and mentoring provided by senior engineers and the R&D Manager.
- Stay informed on new tools, technologies and industry practice relevant to firearms and defense engineering.
- All other duties as directed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or nearing completion).
- Up to 2 years’ experience in an engineering role, internship, or related project work preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
