About The Role
- Engineer and launch new machining, assembly, and finishing processes that strengthen performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Lead Process FMEA and risk mitigation efforts, ensuring new manufacturing processes are robust and production ready.
- Own the development and improvement of procedures, standards, and documentation that support quality execution across all engineering and production processes.
- Collaborate closely with design, operations, sales, and program management teams to support product development and new product introductions.
- Champion continuous improvement by documenting, tracking, and driving closure on process issues, while preparing reports and clear communication to stakeholders.
- Partner with suppliers to source equipment and tooling, supporting negotiations, specifications, and standards for CNC, PLC, and tooling design.
You’re a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and guiding teams toward breakthrough results. You bring technical credibility, a passion for improvement, and a mindset for innovation. You’ll excel if you have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
- 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience as a manager highly desired.
- Detailed understanding of diagnostic, product test, failure analysis and debug techniques.
