Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or similar roles is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience working in nightclubs or high-volume bars is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
