Position Overview
The High School Math Teacher is responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-aligned mathematics instruction that develops students' problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills. This position creates an engaging and structured classroom environment that promotes student ownership of learning while aligning with PBIS, CKH, and restorative practices.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Lesson DesignDevelop and deliver engaging lessons aligned to mathematics standards.Emphasize conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and real-world application.Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
Assessment & FeedbackDesign and administer formative and summative assessments.Provide timely, actionable feedback to students.Use assessment data to guide instructional decisions.
Classroom Culture & ManagementEstablish clear expectations and routines.Maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.Reinforce PBIS expectations consistently.
CKH & Relationship BuildingBuild strong relationships that foster trust and engagement.Encourage student perseverance and confidence in math.
Restorative PracticesAddress behavior through reflective and restorative approaches.
CollaborationParticipate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to plan instruction and analyze data.Collaborate with colleagues to improve student outcomes.
Operational SupportSupport school events, supervision duties, and testing as needed.

Salary Range: $51,000 – $65,000
This position will be for the 2026-2027 school year.
