Responsible for creating an engaging learning environment: A Mancos School High School Mathematics Teacher is a “designer of learning” who moves beyond a traditional approach to create an active, engaging learning environment. The teacher will work closely with colleagues to facilitate immersive learning that connects core subjects to real-world challenges, guiding students to investigate, analyze, and create. By acting as a mentor and coach, the teacher provides the scaffolding and feedback necessary for students to meet and exceed grade-level standards and produce high-quality work.
