Experience/Skills necessary to perform duties:
- 10 years’ experience supporting banking operations, banking systems, or financial services technology.
- Broad understanding of banking processes with experience across lending and/or deposit functions.
- Ability to understand complex systems and identify dependencies across applications, processes, data, and business functions.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience leading, coaching, or supervising others.
- Working knowledge of core banking environments and the relationship between core systems, integrated applications, business processes, and data.
Preferred
- Experience working with a major core banking platform or provider, such as Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, or a comparable platform.
- Experience supporting Lending and Deposit systems or operations.
- Experience supporting core banking releases, upgrades, enhancements, or implementations.
- Experience working with core system vendors on support cases, defects, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Experience working with Fiserv support and case management.
- Experience coordinating system testing, including UAT, regression testing, and implementation readiness.

- Develop and maintain broad functional knowledge of Fiserv DNA across Lending, Deposit, and operational functions.
- Understand dependencies between DNA, integrated applications, interfaces, and business processes.
- Serve as a central resource for identifying cross-functional impacts and connecting the appropriate business and technical SMEs.
- Identify opportunities to improve the Bank’s use of core system capabilities and processes.
2. Release & Change Management
- Coordinate the review and assessment of DNA releases, enhancements, patches, and other system changes.
- Maintain a consistent process for evaluating, communicating, testing, and implementing core changes.
- Coordinate stakeholders and maintain visibility into upcoming changes, impacts, decisions, and implementation activities.
3. Cross-Functional Impact Analysis
- Evaluate changes and issues for impacts across business processes, applications, interfaces, and departments.
- Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders for analysis, decision-making, testing, and implementation.
- Identify and escalate significant dependencies, risks, and unresolved decisions.
4. Issue & Vendor Coordination
- Maintain visibility into significant Fiserv cases, defects, and recurring core system issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional issues and facilitate communication between Fiserv, Banking Applications, and business stakeholders.
- Support escalation of critical or aging issues and identify trends requiring broader action.
5. Communication & Knowledge Management
- Maintain centralized communication and documentation for core releases, changes, known issues, decisions, and system dependencies.
- Facilitate DNA user groups and other forums to promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure impacted stakeholders understand what is changing, the business impact, required actions, and timing.
6. Testing & Implementation Readiness
- Coordinate testing requirements and readiness for core system changes with business units, Banking Applications, and testing resources.
- Identify processes, applications, and interfaces requiring regression or impact testing.
- Support defect resolution, implementation readiness, and post-implementation validation while maintaining business ownership of functional testing.
