Your Responsibilities
- Build and maintain finite capacity production schedules in SAP to meet demand and OTD goals.
- Translate sales orders, forecasts, and engineering releases into executable plans that balance near-term needs with long-range capacity.
- Perform capacity and resource planning; analyze labor and machine availability and recommend overtime, shift changes, or outsourcing.
- Collaborate with Engineering on accurate/timely BOMs and routings; manage planning impacts of ECOs/PECRs and design updates.
- Partner with Purchasing/Materials to secure components and raw materials; resolve shortages proactively.
- Monitor adherence, utilization, and bottlenecks; escalate risks and execute recovery actions.
- Deliver KPI reporting on OTD, capacity utilization, and schedule compliance for leadership decisions.
- Advance continuous improvement with Lean, BACX, OTD, and scrap-reduction projects.
- Support month-end close, physical inventory, and additional departmental assignments.
Where You Fit
Reporting to the Planning & Logistics Manager, youll collaborate with Master Scheduling, Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations. No direct reports; high coordination impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3 years in manufacturing planning/scheduling or supply chain; ETO/MTO experience strongly preferred.
- APICS/CPIM (or equivalent) preferred.
- Required expertise: SAP PP/MM (MRP, capacity leveling, finite scheduling).
- Knowledge of production processes, routings, and BOMs in ETO.
- Analytical capability to assess constraints and resource utilization.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organization, problem solving, and follow-through with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

This is primarily an Office Position with frequent requirements to be present in the factory. When in the factory, the noise level is generally high and hearing protection is required. Eye protection, hearing protection and safety shoes must be worn at all times. Good plant safety practices will be required. Individual will be working in an environment that includes occasional exposure to the elements, inclement weather, and heights.
