Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support production operations within a new, state-of-the-art energy manufacturing facility. This role is critical during facility ramp-up, supporting equipment startup, operator training, process stability, and production readiness.
You will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality electrical products such as transformers, switchgear, and related energy systems, while helping build a strong, safety-first production culture.

Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $49,000 – $71,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment, tooling, and workstations
- Support processes such as:
- Core processing
- Winding
- Mechanical & electrical assembly
- Final assembly, drying, and filling
- Monitor and adjust processes to maintain quality and efficiency
- Support equipment startup, commissioning, and process improvements
- Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identify defects and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
- Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in:
- Manufacturing / production environments
- Electrical or mechanical assembly
- Transformer, switchgear, or heavy industrial manufacturing
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents
- Experience with inspection and measurement tools
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
Important:
- Requirement: MUST be a U.S. Citizen
- Training: 3–4 weeks in Europe (Everything is covered but must be able to travel for the training) approximated travel dates are: (June 22 – July 17, 2026)
