Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving process improvements that increase operational efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce waste within a manufacturing environment. This role partners with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Improve key metrics including yield, cycle time, scrap reduction, and OEE.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
  • Support process standardization, documentation updates, and employee training.
  • Track and report project results and operational improvements.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
  • 2–5 years of manufacturing, process improvement, or continuous improvement experience
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and process mapping
  • Strong analytical and communication skills


Preferred:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems
  • TPM and project management experience

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
