This individual will play a key role in managing project execution, team performance, and client relationships to ensure continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, strategic planning, project financials, and overall performance of the Commercial Electrical Division
- Provide executive-level leadership and guidance to a team of electrical managers, estimators, and project engineers
- Plan, execute, and ensure completion of electrical projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all project activities
- Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and drive divisional growth
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business development and market expansion within the commercial electrical sector
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, forecast costs, and ensure financial targets are achieved
- Support team development through mentoring, training, and performance management
- Enforce safety best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies
- Serve as a key point of contact for client communications, project updates, and conflict resolution
- Drive operational improvements through process enhancements and adoption of new technologies
- Report on divisional performance, project status, and financial metrics to executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or project management within industrial/construction sectors
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or executive-level role
- In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, methods, technologies, and equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, industry standards, and project processes
- Experience managing multiple concurrent electrical projects
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive growth initiatives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- Ability to interpret and work with contract documents and P&ID drawings
