What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Representative position at BabyBots?
We're a Microsoft Power Platform & enterprise AI consultancy — we build automation, AI agents, and data solutions that actually ship. We need a hunter to fill the pipeline to match.
This is a pure greenfield role. No warm leads. No inherited book of business. You identify, pursue, and close net-new accounts from scratch.
What you'll do:
- Build outbound pipeline from zero - cold outreach, hiring signals, Apollo sequences, LinkedIn, referrals
- Run discovery, qualify fast, and drive deals to a signed SOW.
- Sell to VPs of IT, Ops Directors, and C-suite at mid-market to enterprise companies
- Hit monthly pipeline and closed-won targets set together on day one
Who we want:
- 1–4 years in a quota-carrying outbound role (SaaS, tech services, consulting, or equivilant)
- Proven at building cold pipeline - not just working warm leads
- Bias toward action over strategy
- Self-managed, accountable, impossible to discourage
This is NOT for you if your default close timeline is next quarter, you need a long ramp, or you've been coasting on a big-company rolodex.
Compensation:
- Base: $65K–$75K DOE
- Commission: Uncapped, paid on close
- OTE Year 1: $100K–$120K
