Summary
Seeking experienced 1st Class Flux Core Welders (FCAW) for a busy shipyard performing new vessel construction.
Applicants MUST be fluent in BOTH English and Spanish. This is a required qualification and candidates who are not bilingual will not be considered.
Candidates must also be able to pass a hands-on Flux Core weld test at the shipyard.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH & SPANISH (REQUIRED)
- 3 years of FCAW (Flux Core) welding experience
- Shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Ability to pass an onsite Flux Core weld test
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- 1st Class Shipyard Welder experience
- New vessel construction experience
- Multi-position welding experience
