Summary
Seeking experienced 1st Class Shipfitters for full-time positions in a shipyard environment. Candidates must have strong layout and fitting skills and be able to pass a hands-on shipfitter test.
Must-Haves
3 years of shipfitting experience
Shipyard or marine experience
Experience with structural layout, fitting, and assembly
Proficient with torch cutting and grinders
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
Must pass a hands-on shipfitter test
Reliable transportation and attendance
Preferred
Marine vessel construction or repair experience
Structural steel fabrication experience
Rigging or material handling experience
Experience working with welders and fabrication crews
