Summary

Seeking an experienced1st Class Shipfitter for a marine repair yard in Fourchon, LA. Candidates must have strong fitting, layout, cutting, and repair experience andmust know how to wash/burn using a torch.

Must-Haves

3 years of shipfitting experience
Marine repair or shipyard experience
Strong layout and structural fitting skills
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
Experience with torch cutting andwashing/burning
Ability to pass a hands-on shipfitter test
Reliable transportation and attendance

Preferred

Experience repairing vessels, barges, or marine structures
Rigging and material handling experience
Experience working in a fast-paced repair yard
