Responsibilities
- Administer direct IV care to pediatric and adult patients
- Prepare and deliver sterile medications following protocols
- Monitor and respond to infusion reactions under nurse practitioner supervision
- Communicate with healthcare providers and document assessments
- Assist with order entry, lab reviews, and protocol updates
- Ensure accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance activities
- ASN, BSN, or MSN degree
- Active, unrestricted RN license (Alabama or Compact)
- BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to obtain additional licensure or ONS certification within 90 days
- Strong IV skills and familiarity with EMR, Microsoft Office, HIPAA, OSHA, and INS standards
