Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Computer literacy
- RN licensure with BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications
- Perform accurate patient assessments and administer prescribed medications
- Provide age-specific care and basic self-care activities
- Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Assist physicians with procedures and technical tasks
- Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning
- Practice cost-effective resource utilization and promote patient safety
- Engage in ongoing professional learning
