Licensed Mental Health Professional

The Licensed Mental Health Professional will join an innovative Safe Options Support (SOS) team dedicated to providing comprehensive care to street homeless and subway-dwelling individuals in the community.

• They will conduct street outreach, coordinate needs during and after housing transitions, and support daily living skills.
• Providing supportive counseling, advocating against discrimination, and promoting harm reduction and person-centered care are key responsibilities.
• The role involves fieldwork, periodic on-call duties, and flexible hours, with ongoing support for participants post-housing to ensure stability and independence.
• This full-time position requires a master’s degree or higher in social work, mental health counseling, nursing, or psychology; licensure is preferred.
• Travel within three counties is expected, and relocation to Norwich, NY, is required before starting.
