Manager of Behavioral Health (Clinical) - Full Time – Durango Regional Crisis Center - Durango, CO
Position Summary: The Manager of Behavioral Health is responsible for the operation and management of assigned behavioral health programs and may be called upon to provide expertise for organization policy or programming. The Behavioral Health Manager will oversee assigned program areas of operation and must be capable of independent action without losing sight of the fact that their actions at all times represent the policies, priorities, and values of Axis. The position requires a great deal of maturity, thorough knowledge of management dynamics, community relations abilities, and an understanding of the overall behavioral health systems involved in assigned service delivery lines.
Qualifications: Our ideal candidate for our Manager of Behavioral Health position will have their graduate degree in one of the recognized mental health professions.
They will also be licensed or license eligible in the State of Colorado as LPC, LMFT, LCSW or PhD. LAC or CAS licensure is preferred.
Lastly, the successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate clinical experience in a healthcare setting. The experience must include at least two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.

- Must be knowledgeable regarding patient health information and HIPAA compliance.
- Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to follow guidelines.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed.
- Must demonstrate the ability to follow the organization’s confidentiality and security rules.
- Annual Flu immunization by Nov 1 required, annual TB screening, de-escalation training, and BLS certificate.
Salary: Starting pay is $80,204.80 (Base Pay $75,004.80 Locale Diff $5,200.00) – $86,777.60 annually and considers preferred education, experience and licensure.
*This position includes a $5,200.00 annual locale differential for our Durango worksites
This position is eligible for a 24/7 shift stipend of $10,000.

Physical demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move 15 pounds up to 50 pounds. Employees are frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employees must be able to travel between Axis locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Required Skills:
