Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a leading organization in the recycling industry seeking an experienced Lead Administrative Professional. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and administrative experience, leadership and supervisory capabilities, accounts payable and receivable knowledge, and a desire for continued professional growth within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
• Lead and support daily front office operations while ensuring exceptional service for internal and external customers
• Serve and help guide office team to maintain efficient workflows and positive team collaboration
• Train, mentor, and support team members while fostering a positive and productive office environment
• Greet clients, answer and direct phone calls, and respond to customer requests
professionally and efficiently
• Operate truck scale systems and coordinate communication with multiple internal departments regarding incoming/outgoing clients and shipments
• Prepare transportation documents, invoices, logistics paperwork, and maintain tracking systems
• Create and maintain vendor and customer records within ERP systems
• Manage/assist with vendor purchase orders, accounts payable processes, and accounts receivable collections
• Support general administrative operations across multiple departments
• Provide/support accurate data entry and documentation support across multiple departments
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the growth and success of the organization
• Perform additional duties and provide project assistance with cross-functional support as needed
Qualifications
• The desire to serve, grow and help others do the same
• 3–5 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
• 3–5 years of accounts payable and receivable experience
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace or equivalent software
• Strong general office and administrative experience
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support team success
• Motivated professional with a desire to grow into increasing leadership responsibilities
