Location: Holland, Michigan
Engagement: 3‑month contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift (approximately 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.)
Compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
When you arrive, you’ll jump right into the heartbeat of our Quality function—keeping records organized, documents current, and data flowing. You’ll prepare customer letters and internal quality documentation, post key metrics for the team, and help the lab enhance its digital capabilities. Throughout the day, you’ll move between filing systems, quality databases, and spreadsheets, always with a close eye on accuracy and confidentiality. You’ll support continuous improvement initiatives, follow MIOSHA standards with the appropriate PPE (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.), and keep the workspace orderly and audit‑ready.
Key responsibilities- Maintain and improve record retention and filing systems for the Quality Lab.
- Create customer-facing letters and documents, plus internal production support and QC documentation.
- Record, track, and report critical quality indicators for the team.
- Support the development of the QC Lab’s computer capabilities and digital tools.
- Copy data and compile records, logs, and reports with high attention to detail.
- Tabulate and post data into record books and electronic logs.
- Use computer terminals to input and retrieve data from quality systems.
- Perform all tasks and operate equipment per MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety gear (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
- Demonstrate punctual, reliable attendance; remain willing and able to work any assigned shift if needed.
- Safeguard confidential information at all times.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection‑ready.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts across the department.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication skillsRead and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write clear basic correspondence; comfortably present information one‑on‑one or to small groups of customers and employees.
Math skillsAdd, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percentage; create and interpret bar graphs.
