What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Engineer position at Axiom Global Technologies?
We are seeking an experienced embedded engineer with a strong background in Wi-Fi technologies and Linux systems. This position focuses on building and enhancing wireless features for broadband devices such as gateways and extenders, primarily within the RDK-B framework. The role requires hands-on development, debugging, and collaboration across teams and external partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and optimize wireless functionality for broadband devices, ensuring performance and stability
- Contribute to feature development and issue resolution within the RDK-B stack
- Diagnose and resolve field issues related to Wi-Fi connectivity and network behavior
- Partner with hardware and chipset vendors to enable and fine-tune Wi-Fi integrations
- Work in coordination with distributed teams to deliver features on schedule
- Support internal teams with technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Share regular progress updates and communicate risks or blockers to stakeholders
Core Requirements (Must-Have)
- Proven experience in embedded development using C/C
- Practical exposure to RDK-B platform development
- Solid understanding of Wi-Fi standards (IEEE 802.11 family)
- Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and development environment
