Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Board Bring-Up Support Engineer to support the testing, validation, and debugging of FPGA- and CPU-based hardware systems. This role involves close collaboration with hardware design, firmware, and system teams to ensure successful board bring-up and system functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in board bring-up, hardware debugging, functional validation, and manufacturing support
- Strong experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools
- Expertise in one or more of the following:
- High-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, high-speed serial)
- Low-speed interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG)
- Power system design and validation
- Experience in defining system-level specifications and executing test plans
- Proficiency with schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD or Allegro
- Understanding of signal integrity (SI) and thermal considerations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards
- Knowledge of x86 system architecture
- Experience with Linux kernel or driver-level development
- Programming/scripting experience in C, C , Python, TCL, or Verilog
- Experience working with Xilinx FPGAs and related tools
Education
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant hardware design and bring-up experience
