Summary
- Location: Richmond, VA
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Use Business Unit knowledge to provide local HR services relevant and tailored to the needs of the BU/location.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the local BU/location; work as part of the BU squad, providing business intimacy and supporting with delivery of local HR services.
- Escalate business-specific queries to the BU People Experience Lead and functional queries to the relevant SSC team.
- Serve as the key point of contact for employees and managers for HR-related queries, self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, policy interpretation, and process support requiring face-to-face interaction and hard copy documentation.
- Focus on employee experience and continuous improvement of end-to-end operational HR services.
- Deliver services such as ongoing onboarding, local learning delivery, time & attendance (plant), local query resolution, and hourly recruitment (plant outside NA).
- Provide HR advice and guidance in relation to their BU, empowered to use their judgment and business knowledge to pre-empt any HR concerns and proactively seek solutions.
- Support documentation and implement local/country-specific policies.
- Identify service issues, propose improvements, and support implementing changes.
- Support the delivery of projects and initiatives within their country/BU.
- Responsible for Employee Relations support (where service not provided by SSC).
