What you need:
- Proven experience (0-1 years) as an HR Generalist or similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable (but not required):
- SHRM or PHR certification.
What you will do:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, and resume screening.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation, paperwork, and I-9s.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and contribute to fostering a positive work environment.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts as needed.
- Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Support the performance management process by assisting in goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Compile HR data, generate reports, and analyze trends to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage and track employee information.
- Contribute to various HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and process improvement efforts.
