ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Structural Analyst for our well-known client in space exploration!
Conduct strength assessments using FEA and classical analysis techniques for ground support equipment and tooling.
Document and review stress analyses.
Lead detailed analysis of tooling and equipment for the manufacture of structural components, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and fluid systems,
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8 years of experience.
Experience creating and validating FEMs using Ansys or NX Simulation.
Experience with FEA.
Ability to generate free-body diagrams to calculate internal loads and reaction forces.
Experience analyzing steel and aluminum tooling.
Proficiency in performing weld join and bolted joint hand calculations.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
PE license
Proficiency with CREO or Siemens NX
Aerospace experience
