Quality Inspector- Aerospace
EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: Contract-to-Hire
JOB SITE: Onsite in Woodinville, WA
PAY RATE RANGE: $22-31/hr
SHIFT: M-F 6:00 am-2:45pm
EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

Position Summary
We are working alongside out aerospace manufacturing client who's seeking a prominent Quality Inspector to provide assistance and direction to use predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to perform in-process and completed inspections of products.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspection duties, including hardness testing procedures.
- Observe and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods in all job assignments
- Support Quality Inspectors 2–4 as directed
- Enter data using Syteline/ESU or other ERP system as directed
- Arrange inspection work queues to identify priority work, and move completed work to next staging area
- Identify and segregate non-conforming product
- Conduct product verification in accordance with inspection plans
- Learn and develop knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment including, but not limited to: micrometers, height gauges, radius gauges, protractors, profilometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, surface plates, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)/Scanners
- Maintain attention to detail and follow instructions in all aspects of work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years of aerospace inspection experience or equivalent
- Experience performing hardness testing is a must
- Good knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASM 14.5
- Proficiency with inspection measuring equipment (micrometers, gauges, profilometers, indicators, CMM/Scanners, etc.)
- Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong blueprint reading and basic math skills
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to communicate professionally and work cooperatively with others
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic English language skills with the ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
- Willingness to learn, receive training, and train others as required
