TITLE: ERP Project Manager
LOCATION: Kent, WA (Onsite M-F)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct Hire
PAY RANGE: 100-130K base plus benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Holiday Pay, PTO, 401K)
Our manufacturing and equipment fabrication client is looking for an ERP Project Manager to own the company's side of an Epicor ERP implementation, replacing the legacy Proman system. The Project Manager will interface with Epicor's implementation team who will be delivering the technical work. The Project Manager organizes internal resources and keeps the project on schedule without overloading the team. The role runs the implementation in Monday and also supports a small number of other software and engineering projects. As the company grows, it is expected to fold into a Project Management Office (PMO). Manufacturing processes are not fully defined today, so the role also brings a clear view of what good process looks like.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Builds and maintains the project plan and schedule in Monday, keeping status visible to all stakeholders.
- Drives readiness for key phases such as data migration, configuration review, testing, training, and cutover.
Epicor team interface
- Serves as the primary day-to-day contact for Epicor's implementation and project management team.
- Tracks Epicor deliverables and dates, and holds both sides accountable to commitments.
- Manages change requests and scope questions with Epicor, escalating cost and schedule impacts.
Internal resource and workload management
- Organizes internal subject matter experts across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Assembly, Quality, Finance, and Shipping.
- Plans workload to meet implementation demand without overloading the team or disrupting active customer work.
- Coordinates data cleanup, validation, and user acceptance testing with process owners.
Process definition and change management
- Documents current manufacturing processes and helps define future-state workflows in Epicor, applying good practice where processes are not yet defined.
- Supports training plans, communications, and user adoption, including users moving off the legacy system.
- Identifies process gaps and recommends improvements as the company moves toward a PMO.
Other projects
- Manages or supports a small number of additional software and engineering projects.
Risk, budget, and reporting
- Identifies risks and issues early, with mitigation plans and recommended actions.
- Monitors implementation budget and reports status against budget.
- Delivers regular status updates to leadership and the project steering group.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, MIS, operations planning, or a related field.
- 3–10 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Solid PM fundamentals are essential.

- Planning, analytical, attention-to-detail, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP, sales order management, production scheduling, inventory control, and procurement.
- Clear written and verbal communication; positive, team-oriented approach to problem resolution.

- ERP implementation or migration experience.
- Epicor experience.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
- Candidates from technology or software project backgrounds are welcome to apply.
