Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our team in Everett, WA. This role is responsible for the procurement of materials, components, and services to support manufacturing and business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, vendor relations, and ERP systems, with the ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for raw materials, components, and services in support of production and operations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain and update purchase orders in the ERP system; ensure accuracy of pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address material needs and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and support planning activities to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual obligations, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (manufacturing/aerospace preferred).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP, Costpoint, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
