Job Title: Assembler
Location: Everett (on-site)
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Every Other Friday Off
Pay: $23–$26/hr
Type: Contract-To-Hire
Summary:
The Assembly Technician II sets up and operates machinery to assemble components to customer specifications. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly using proper tools and materials
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Inspect and verify completed work for quality and accuracy
- Operate equipment such as mills, lathes, and honing machines
- Complete rework as needed
- Support other production areas and contribute to process improvements
- Follow all safety, quality, and company standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in mechanical assembly required
- Basic machining and blueprint reading (GD&T) skills
- Experience with EZ-Trak lathes, Bridgeport mills, or honing machines preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of tools
- Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
