Aventura at West Park is now hiring Transportation Drivers (CDL & Non-CDL)!

Pay: $17-$20/hour (based on license and experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking dependable and compassionate Transportation Drivers to safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and facility activities. This role is essential in supporting our residents’ quality of life and ensuring a safe, comfortable travel experience.

Qualifications:

For CDL Driver ($20/hour):

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Experience transporting passengers preferred (healthcare/senior living a plus)
  
  
  

For Non-CDL Driver ($17/hour):

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Prior driving experience preferred
  
  
  

For All Candidates:

• Ability to assist elderly and disabled individuals safely
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments and scheduled outings
• Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility vehicles
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and departments regarding schedules
