We are looking for high energy, caring and professional Medication Technician for our Assisted Living Facility.
Experience: Medication Technician experience in an Assisted Living Facility or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Job Functions:
- Provides privacy for the resident
- Checks for changes in orders and discontinued orders
- Assists with self-administration of medication as assigned within the scope of practice
- Assists with self-administration of medications, staying with each resident until the medication is consumed and charts appropriately
- Maintains upkeep and cleanliness of medication carts, wipes down top of medication cart daily
- Daily checks medication cart for upcoming expiration dates and notifies supervising nurse of all meds expiring
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate narcotic log and verifying count with oncoming Med Tech
- Notifies a supervising nurse at once if noting any adverse reaction of medication on resident
- Notes significant changes in condition of resident
- Communicates requests and problems to appropriate personnel
