Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Assist attorneys with the lifecycle of workers' compensation claims, ensuring all deadlines are tracked and met.
- Document Preparation: Draft and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, medical evaluations, and hearings.
- File Maintenance: Maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring all medical records and evidence are organized and accessible.
- Communication: Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of consistent experience in Workers’ Compensation or Personal Injury law.
- Education: A College Degree is strongly preferred.
- Reliability: Excellent professional references are required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software; exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Logistics: Must live within a 30-mile radius of the Raleigh office for reasonable commuting on in-office days.
