Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Implement cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed to maintain property exterior areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents; ensure proper storage and disposal in accordance with safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface sanitation techniques, floor care methods, and equipment operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
- Effective client communication skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or customers
- Experience with outdoor work environments and outdoor cleaning procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with housekeeper management practices and custodial standards to ensure consistent quality of service
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
