Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
• Maintain floors through carpet cleaning, floor care, and polishing to ensure they remain in excellent condition
• Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a healthy environment
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to residents or clients, addressing any specific requests or concerns
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when replenishments are needed
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling or training new team members (if applicable)

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, sanitation standards, and laundry procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products; experience with carpet cleaning is a plus
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
