Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks that may include deep cleaning of equipment or large-scale sanitation projects
• Assist with facilities maintenance duties like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, or reporting larger issues to the maintenance team
• Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly emptying trash bins, restocking supplies, and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized
• Support janitorial operations by using commercial cleaning equipment efficiently and safely
• Uphold safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; prior industrial or commercial cleaning experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums safely and effectively
• Familiarity with residential painting or basic maintenance tasks is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cleaning responsibilities efficiently
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
