Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Use knife skills and culinary techniques to efficiently prepare meals and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food service and customer satisfaction
- Be trained in all 3 faciliites
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Proven skills in food handling, cooking, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and catering operations
- Strong knife skills and experience in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience working in fast-paced environments that require multitasking and teamwork
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
